I would like to know if an ejection factor of 12% (gall bladder) is a reason to remove it. I think I would prefer to remove it when we know it isn't functioning properly but need some education on the whys whens and hows of the removal. Is it dangerous or risky to keep it knowing of the low ejection factor?

I look forward to hearing from someone on this issue that tell can tell me the facts.
