Hi all...In the shower this morning I was shaving my vagina, and I noticed a hard lump, about the size of a pea in my groin and sort of on a lip. I went to out patients, and the doc said a cyst. The thing is yesterday I had sex with my husband, and he always goes down on me, and he didn't notice it. You can see it bulging through the skin a bit. Can a cyst grow over night like that? I mean I am pretty aware of my body, and something like that wouldn't go unnoticed. We are a very sexual couple, and surley we would have noticed it alot sooner had it been there. When I am not on my period he is probably in my pants everyday, or aleast licking around if you know what I mean.

Any thoughts would help, or if anyone has experienced this before.
Thankx!!

Could easily have been a cyst or ingrown hair if it was on one of the outside lips... There's really nothing else that can grow there that I know of. And definitely, it can grow overnight. It's like a pimple... We've all had big ones develop within a day. It should clear up on its own. Now, if it was closer to your groin near where your thigh meets your bikini line, it could be a lymph node, but your doctor would've spotted that. Sounds like you're fine... Just annoying, i'm sure.
