First of all, i'm 25 with and had my first child 16 months ago. But every since I was in my last trimester, till this day, I still have alot of swelling. Mostly in my hands and feet. Sometimes it feels like I can't even move my hands when I first wake up. And usually when i'm hot, which is alot now. Is this normal? I am still carrying a little extra weight is this the cause? Also, I my occasionally hands become tingly. I feel my blood pressure is up sometimes too. I am on medication as well for depression and so I can sleep- this is all I can think of that would be important to my culprit. But like I said I ve been experiencing this stuff during my pregnancy-no meds.Does anyone experience this too?

Extremely eHealthy
I agree it could be diabetes & regardless you need to see a dr & have a thorough check up (don't let the dr get away with just a chat & quick once over have blood & urine tests done including kidney & liver function tests, cholesterol & blood sugar).

However you could also do some things that might help relieve some of your problems: take a gentle 30 minute walk between 6 & 7 am (at this hour even if overcast the sun has a positive affect on stress - so will the time out - you can always put the baby in a stroller). This might also help reduce your weight & with that in mind do not diet just be sensible, maybe have 5 small meals spread throughout the day instead of 3 large plus snacks.
