Q: Wpw And I Have 2 Extra Circuits?

I am 21 and was diagnosed with wpw about 2 months ago. I'd been having a number of heart spells so the doctor went ahead and scheduled my ablation and I had it one week ago today. I'm doing ok, just really tired and my heart still beats kind of fast. The doctor did find the extra circuit that he was expecting in the middle of my heart and successfully ablated the circuit while he was in there. But towards the end of the procedure he triggered another spell from a pathway in the bottom chamber of my heart. He said he wasn't expecting this and it was a little more extensive then the one in the middle of my heart, so he only put scar tissue on it and is hoping it won't give me any problem. He says if it does then he may have to go back in, in a couple of months or so. I've been researching alot and I have read that when in the bottom chamber of your heart the ablation is a lot riskier especially in people under the age of 25...That's me.... And that if not done exactly right it can be fatal. Has anyone else heard of this? I've also read that when the extra pathway is in the bottom of your heart there is a bigger chance of ventricular fibrillation (cardiac arrest)....And that many people with wpw should wear an emergency wrist band incase this sort of thing occurs. If anyone could help me with any information I would really appreciate it. I'm thankful the doctor ablated the one in the middle of my heart but i'm kinda scared about the one on the bottom. I know it's only been one week since the ablation but my heart still beats faster than normal, I still get really dizzy at times, and i'm still having shortness of breath. I'm not sure if these are still side affects from the procedure or if they're coming from the other extra circuit? Any information would really help. Thanks!

Wpw Ablation
So glad to have found this site. I too was diagnosed with wpw I had the catherization ablation dec. 2004. The doctor said I was cured however I am getting an irregular heart beat. I have been since the procedure. For awhile I thought maybe it is normal during a healing period. But it is now going on 9 months since the procedure. The doctor put me back on medication to control the heart beat. Had me on the heart monitor twice in the last month and just increased my medicine to twice a day. Has anyone else experienced this after their procedure? The doctor said this is caused by scar tissue where the ablation was done. Said when people have heart attacks they get scar tissue on their heart and causes this. I feel as though I am having anxeity attacks.
The heart is not beating fast just an extra beat and then a pause before it begins to a regular beat and then an extra beat again. Not a good feeling....

Please any information on this would be greatly appreciated....
