Yes..It is normal!..My baby is 4 months on friday..And I am just getting back to the grove. Just take it super slow and use lots of lube. Just tell him to act like he's medical question a virgin. Thats what my husband did.....And slowly it got better.

I never had a problem with it. I did have episiotomy(spelling) could make a difference though. I know my husband never waited for the 6 weeks check up either.

We tried it at 4 weeks, and he got the head of his penis in, and I was screaching in pain..Then again a week later..Still really painful..A couple weeks later..A little better and yesterday the sex was like we just met...

I had a small tear which did require some stitches...It was pretty sore down below for a week or two..
But..I'm healed and ready to rock....Maybe try for another baby soon..Who knows........

I read in a book that your significant other should try fingering you first before trying to have intercourse. When they do they should start with one fingerand then continue to try to get two to three in also use lotsssssssss of lube! The fingering does help we tried everything else and this was what helped us get back in the saddle.
