Q: Cyst With Clomid

Help! I am on my 2nd cycle of clomid w/hcg shot. This time on day 20...I had a glob of tissue and burnt orange color discharge. I thought it was my period but then I quit everything. Had amaybe a drop of red blood. Called my doctor and he said not to worry, could have passed a cyst and could still be pregnant. Has anyone else had this and how do I know when to test? Do I wait for a period or get blood work?
