Hi everyone!

I am a 20 year old female...

What does this sound like to you?

I have sharp stabbing pains just under the lower part of my left ribcage.

The pain comes and goes although lately it seems to happen more frequently.

Twice it lasted for about 8 hours

when these cramps occurr it is very painful to inhale, therefore I have to take extremely short breaths

the pain seems to stay on the left side

nothing in particular seems to trigger it

had an abdominal cat scan which showed nothing... By the way, if I have an unremarkable abdominal cat scan, what does that rule out?

Also had an abdominal ultrasound, and it was unremarkable...What does that rule out?

Thanks guys... :)
