Due Dates.....how Close to Delivery Were Your Due Dates?

Hey this is my first pregnancy....I'm 1
week shy of 4 months but I was wondering
when you had your baby was it close to yur
due date? Preferably with your first baby
did you have you baby before or after
your due date? And how far before or
after? Hope you girls don't mind my
asking....I was just curious!

Well with my first child I was due on
dec.15 and I had mild contractions around
the 8th and on the 9th morningmy water
leaked and when I saw my doctor it broke
and I went up to have her about 12 hours
later! :d so I was about a week
early....But I heard thats not always the
case you can go late too.....So I may have
been any help
when are you due??

I am due aug 27th, 2 weeks today. Have
started getting string contractions since
wednesday. Hopefully its over sooner
rather than later. :d

to answer the question....
First child due sept 17--birth oct 4th
--36 1/2 hours labor
2nd child due nov 12--birth dec 1--she
waited for mommas birthday 26 hours
labor--induced from the beginning
robert, my third no period for 12 months,
started labor pains in aug, due sometime
end of sept--birth oct 30--induced first
time oct 16th no luck--induced again oct
30--fetal distress--delivered by c/section
around 2 in afternoon.

God, so you went over on all 3 of your
children, and they were long labours.
At our antenatal classes, we were told on
average for first time labour is 6- 8
hours in ireland. I hope its this or
shorter, definitelt not 36 hours.

I think most of the times now, they really
push to try and deliver in 12 hours I
think.
Good luck and no I was not the norm!!!

Wow fatfam were all you delivery dates off
because of something or did you really
carry that far past term!! If everything
seems accurate my doctor lets us deliver
if we go over even a week! Your a tough
mommy :d and all that labor!! Hope your
kids are angels now! Lol

Yeah back then 2 weeks past was normal be4
they would do anything. And like my last
son, they induced at 2 weeks, dint work so
they tried again in 2 more weeks. Yes
that is past the drs dates. I even
thought I might have been farther along
than even the drs thought. But I guess
not. Maybe they just needed to be a
little more cooked.
I miscarried 6 times, they come out
early--so the ones that made it just
wanted to stay in!! Lol
they are the greatest kids ever--love me
totally as I do them. Not perfect just
wonderful, loving caring individuals

My daughter was due july 6th and I had her
on july 10th I had a scheduled c/s due to
her size. Hope all goes well for you :)

long---episiotomy
daughter 7lb 2 oz, 19 cm head 20 in

I was way pass my due date with my first
child, I was due for the 17th but end up
having him on the 28th, but dont worry you
will know when its time cause a baby can
come before or after the due date. :)

My son was due june 25, I had him at
10:30pm june 21 by emerg c-sec after 36
1/2 hours of labor! So 4 days early!

My daughter was induced from the
beginning--1 week late. She went almost
40 hours with epidural and ended up
emergency c/setion in the end. Baby
crashed and dr came in and held the baby
up in the birth canal while they stopped
her labor, and prep her for surgery. The
baby heratbeat fell off the bottom of
chart, while daughters uterine
contractions went off the charts upwards.
I was freakin--i said did what I think
just happen, happen they said yes. I
said wheres my scrubs--im going in???

I was due july 23rd and delivered july
20th. I was induced though because of my
high blood pressure. My labor and
delivery went very well. I was only in
active labor for 5 and a half hours and
pushed for only 15 minutes before he was
born!! Good luck to all who are preggy!!!
You'll all do fine!!

I was due june 19 with my first boy....17
days, 30 hours and a c-section later he
was here!
