I'm almost positive that by eighteen weeks the genitals are fullly formed. I go to find out in a couple weeks too, but i'll be about 20-21 weeks. Now it all just depends on the way your baby is positioned.

Yes, they can usually tell at 18 weeks. It depends on the doctor though. My doctor seemed to be very strict about checking at 20 weeks but I had my 18 1/2 week appointment yesterday and he went for it anyway. My baby wasn't cooperating though. :( it was moving too much and the foot kept getting in the way. When you go in for your 18 week ultrasound, ask the doctor right before he starts it if he can possibly tell. Maybe he'll look. Good luck!

We asked 'bout the sex of our baby during my 13th week scan. The doctor gave a maybe answer. Just had my 20th week scan 2 weeks ago, lo and behold..... We managed to see the sex of the baby.... Very clear. Recommend to do it on your 20th week scan as well. Just hope that your baby will cooperate. My doctor sometimes ask me to cough hard in order to shake the baby a bit in order to move so we can see what we would like to see.

What is your baby? I go saturday 9/10 at 8 am by then i'll be one day off of 20 weeks (5 months).

it's a boy! Your dr will likely can tell and identify the sex of your baby on your next appmt. Good luck.

Aww you're having a 'lil boy? I don't know what I want I want one of each.....One now the other later. My moms so excited she keeps buying me and my husband a ton of stuff for our baby. Baby clothes, and lots of neat stuff-she goes your baby's gonna be soo spoiled.
