Burning
Posted: 08-08-05 11:41am

For the last three days. I have been cramping in my vagina really bad. I understand that it is normal to cramp but it is getting to the point that I feel like I have a cathiter in me. It hurts to pee or walk and even just to sit. Is it just were the baby is moving down? Also I have been feeling all my kicks down low and not up high. I am 32weeks pregnant. I was wondering if this was normal or just part of the b/h contrations? My dr says that the b/h shouldnt hurt is that true?

Let your doctor know cause you may have a urinary tract infection and they should know right away so they can treat your symptoms

I think that you should talk to your doctor it sounds like your baby may be breach. My sister had that happen and her baby was breach, but on the day of her caeceran the baby turned :-)

I went to the dr yesterday and he said yes she was breach but that it was no big deal he says that he will be more concerned if she stays up until my due date. Also the sent my test off so I will know tomorrow.
Thank you for your replies.

Contractions
Posted: 08-10-05 22:02pm

Could someone please explain to me what contractions are and what they feel like. I think I know but I am not really sure. From what my dr says that is probably what has been going on but I will be honest since this is my first baby I don't know what is going on. All I know is this hurts. Also is it normal to already be 1cm when you are 32wks pregnant?

The babies usually drop 3 different times. 1st time around 2 months from due date . If you are like typical baby, just recently dropped into the beginning of birth canal. That would explain the pressure and pain you are having down below. By the time most woman go into "full" labor they are already dilated to 2 or 3 cm. So yes it is perfectly normal.

Labor is like this pain starts in stomach or back spreads out as the intensity grows then it declines in intensity. They come on a time schedule. If it b/h there is really no schedule they are minimally intense and have no order or tyming to them. If the pains keep growing in intensity and within 5 minutes apart and contimue for long while then you might be in the beginning of labor.

But obviously something is happening for you are beginning to open down below. So call them true labor or call them b/h they are beginning to do something.

Baby will drop again 2 weeks from due date, then again the day before delivery. If you loose this slimy mucus thing with little blood in it, this is completely normal. Usually happens within 2 weeks of delivery. But in my case they came out within 2 months before delivery. Dont worry that is normal

good luck sweetie
