I'm convinced I have hpv (due to some strange growths bumps in my genital area)

in the last 2days i've probably visited every medical site about hpv. But I still have a few unanswered questions.

Is it possible to have unprotected sex with someone who is experiencing an outbreak and never have one yourself?

How long do the treatments take to work? Are all treatments (creams) expensive?

Does touching them increase the risk of spreading them in the area, or causing them to grow on your hands, etc?

How much time usually passes before warts re-appear?

I know the above questions can all have varying anwers but any personal experience or knowledge would be greatly appreicated!
