I Found Out I Have Herpes. Posted: 08-04-05 21:59pm


I am teh age of 14 years old. I found out I have genital herpes. I was pre-scribed a cream ( antifungal) by my doctor. I am putting it on. I was just wondering how long a outbreak usually lasts and if I dont put cream on it, does the outbreak go away by itself?

Ask your doctor to give you pills for it, i'm not too similiar with the creams but I have a good friend who has herpes aswell. He has been taking pills for 3 years and has been outbreakfree for almost 2. Just be careful if you have sex, even if your outbreakfree you can still spread it to other people.
