Hurt by nin, desolation highway by bikini atoll, ministry stuff is good, pink floyd comfortably numb, the doors, sober by tool, the smiths are always good, the new six feet under soundtrack, interpol(more apathetic and disconnected) ... Bohemian rhapsody by queen, if you want something diff and depressing try sigur ros like the nothing song, it sounds like hypnotic funeral music. Anything on the doom generation or nowhere soundtrack is good.

joy division
idlewild

but I find its better to listen to somethin that getsme worked up like the blood brothers or ratm or some other metal hardcore stuff

Yeah, during work outs I listen to rage against the machine, tool, kmfdm, old korn and stuff like that. Then I jam something to calm me down and feel totally vaccuous like phil collins or something to bring me down from being all amped up like the church, joy division or fleetwood mac. Even christopher cross will work in the clutch, I just seeing my friends react when i'm jamming sailing after a work out, lol. So much more in your face than marilyn manson could ever be!

Guernica by brand new is better (a lot of their songs suck though)
the sound of settling by death cab
and days of the phoenix by afi but they still look stupid :)
also been listening to million dead, (hed)pe, just jack, boyhitscar, test icicles, mewithoutyou, rjd2 and biffy clyro. Music keeps me sane...
