My long term girlfriend had all the symptoms of being pregnant ...Morning sickness, large tummy, swollen breasts etc..And she saud she was pregnant. Then she went fort a check up at the clinic. She came back and said that she was told that she was not in fact pregnant. She said the doctor told her it was because she had been taking the same daily contaceptive pill for too long a time (about 2 and half years) without a break. This had caused her ovaries to become blocked and had givemn her all the symptoms of being pregnant. I have my doubts over this. Is this possible to happen? I wonder if perhaps she was in fact pregnant but decided to get rid of the baby because it wasn't in fact mine and she was worried that I would have tests done and find out?
Can 'blocked tubes' give signs of phantom pregnancy???
