< Breast Pain ((info.)) > Posted: 08-04-05 13:21pm
Hi there I have been having a pain in my
lower left breast for a few years. I
never really new what it was. It comes
and goes. Then I got my net lol and I was
able to find forums and articles that
helped me better educate myself on the
pain.
I was scared and did not want to ask my
mother so I looked it up.
Well a day ago I was navigating and a
women in this forum had asked about pain
in the breast. She feared it may be
symptoms of pregnacy. And well I felt the
need to post the link. I hope it may help
her or any one with similar questions.
Basically I found it that it is in
relation to monthy cycle for some women or
ovulation. It begins a few days before
your period or sometimes lasts through out
it. The pain has to do with hormones
changin and well I was a bit relief.
I can't say that it is in relation to my
monthly cycle lol because I know I should
keep track but well I never put the pain
and monthly visitor togheter till now.
Hope that helps and if i'm wrong in my
postings and theres another reason for
pain please let me know.
If you have had this for the last few
years then how could someone say it might
be a symptom of pregnancy. That's a long
pregnancy. Lol every month before my
cycle I get alot of shooting pains in my
breast. That is not abnormal. And yeah
it's hard to keep track of it unless you
are constantly thinking of it. I related
mine cause it seemed to be happening a
week or 2 before my cycle and it would
continue until I was about 2-3 days into
my period.
Isn't wonderful being a woman!!!! Lol

I had pain in my breast a few years ago
and I too put it down to my period since I
had just started it but after a while I
developed a lump I was only 15! And got
very scared so I saw my doctor n had an
ultrasound and biopsy it turned out to be
a cyst but growing dramatically it doubled
in size in 3 weeks I was told i'd have to
have it removed because they were worried
about cancer and blood supply as it was
getting really big 3 months after I found
out I had it removed because of that my
right breast is now 2 years behind
development of my left so ones bigger than
the other. I think that if you've got
pain please get it checked out. It might
not be what you think it is just from
looking on the net.
Good luck and take care
