I am 34 year old female who has no health problems to speak of. Three days ago my left leg started to feel weak and heavy. Later that same day, I started to notice cold areas on both legs and feet, like someone is pressing a cold can of cola against my skin. I contacted my pcm and was told to take 800mg ibuprofin for a few days to see if maybe my muscle was inflammed. I have been doing this for 2 days now with no noticeable difference. There is no pain.

I kind of know what you are talking about. I actually have weakness and heaviness in both of my legs. There is no pain, just a really hard to describle weakness in my legs. Doctors think i'm crazy and don't know what to tell me. I wish I knew what was causing it!

Weakness In Leg
I have had many mri's and even an eeg since I posted that first comment and it turns out I may possibly have multiple sclerosis. The doctors can't tell me anything for sure right now, but I just wanted you to know that you aren't crazy. Go see a neurologist and make sure he or she takes you seriously.

I've actually been checked for ms with many mris...Came back negative. I have 1 single lesion on my brain but that was found in 2003 and it hasn't gotten bigger nor are there any more since then...I'm still undiagnosed!

Undiagnosed
Well, from the research i've done ms can remain undiagnosed for years although the fact that you haven't had any more lesions than just that one is a good thing and probably suggests you don't have ms but i'm no doctor. I have 17 lesions, but they haven't done a second brain mri so I don't know if they've gotten bigger or more have shown up since then. I wish you the best and hope you find a doctor that you feel good about.
