Posted: 08-04-05 11:07am

Hi everyone...Well after much testing and 3 diff Dr.S I have learned that I may have pcos. I dont have any of the common symptoms ( hair, weight problems, abnormal periods, etc.) or at least I dont think I have any of the symptoms (i'm italian heritage so have lil extra hair but not to any extent). But>>>cant conceive been ttc for almost 2 yrs now. Has anyone else had pcos w/o having any of the common symptoms?? What did the Dr. Do to treat it?? Any support would be great.... I have to go in for an hsg on monday...Also has anyone had one of those done?? How was it?? Yikes .... I'm super nervous!! :~(

Not to be rude but I have no clue what you are talking about. I guess I dont have much experience with this chat stuff. What do all the abriviations stand for? I need a little tutoring here. Maybe then I might be able to help. Sounds like a lot of stuff I had going on with me when the er found my cyst.

i am overweight but I don't have any other symptoms. Everybody is different though.

Hi, I was diagnosed with pcos last year, I was ttc for a year. When I was diagnosed with this, I went on a diet straight away. As I think this was one of my symptoms (weight gain), when I lost 2 stone (28lbs) I conceived! And my periods also became regular after losing this weight. Doctors can give you medication to control symptoms. And some people have severe pcos and some people have it when itsnot so bad. But not all people are the same. You can be slim and have pcos..
