Q: Melasma And Birth Control - Other Options?

Hello, I have been on yasmin for about 4 years, and last year I started getting pigmentation on my face. After treating it with tri luma cream it disappears, but comes back.

Has anyone experienced this? I would like to research birth control options without a hormone, which is causing the pigmentation. What are my options? I like the security of the pill but not what it is doing to my face.
