Q: Spotting On the Pill?????

I just switched from alesse to ortho tri-cyclen lo in hopes of increasing the length of withdrawal bleeding. I started the new pack this past sunday (at the time I would have normally started a new pack of alesse). So i've only taken 2 of the new pills so far and already i've noticed some spotting/ breakthru bleeding. Is this normal??? Is it possible for this to happen so soon? I ended my period saturday and started this spotting yesterday (monday). I thought at first it might just be discharge after my period, but it doesn't seem to be stopping (although it's no more than a few drops). Or is it possible sexual activity could cause spotting? Any input would be greatly appreciated!!!!
