I was just wondering some things about clomid. I was just prescribed it today but haven't been able to start it yet because I haven't started my next cycle yet. I was just wondering if anyone here has taken it and if so were there any adverse side effects I should worry about? I had bad side effects when he put me on glucophage and don't want a repeat. Also does anyone know the success rates on this drug? I would feel at ease if anyone had any info. Thanks

Clomid
Hi, i've taking clomid for 2 cycles already. The first month after the 3rd pill I got very depressed. I cried every day at least 3 days. By the second month I was a little better. I think everyone gets different side effects. I've read on the internet that 50% of women get pregnant by using this drug. Also that women taking this medication get pregnant in about 3 to 6 months of taking it. I say.. Just go for it.. It is worth the try. Just have some faith. Will let you know if I am one of those 50% lucky women who get pregnant. Best of luck and keep me posted.

Clomid
Hi kissycole,

congratulations!! I am so excited to hear it worked for you. I sure hope it will work for me too. You just gave me hope after I had already lost it. Did you check your bbt to figure out when u were ovulating or used any type of ovulation kit?

Best of luck with your pregnancy.
Mari

Hi ladies, thanks and the doc did say their was a chance of twins but it was only a slight chance. I got my first ultrasound and their is only one baby. And yes I did use a bbt. I took it at the first start of using clomid and by the 17th day of my cycle it came out posite that I would ovulate soon. I had sex for 3 days straight and the rest is history! The funny thing was the doc did my progesterone test that month and said I couldn't have ovulated and I was all depressed. Then a couple of weeks later I was getting nauseous and took a preg test and it was positive! I know that if you just keep trying it will happen for you.
Good luck and lots of baby dust**** :)
