Well don't feel alone, I have the same problem and have been trying to get pregnant for 7 years now. I know there is no cure but the bloating and stuff...I get it all. After sex I would try standing on my head 'literally'.

I bought an ovulation pack, with testing strips and it have been quite accurate. You should try it, I seem to be ovulating on the 13th - 14th day counting from the first day of my period. It is said that those days are the stongest and best time to try. So try it.

Don't feel discouraged. Don't put too much pressure on yourself, you'll only feel these symptoms more...It happens to me. Girl, I know what the cramps feel like.
You're not alone.
Try the ovulation testing strips the directions on how to check for your most fertile time is on the box and for people like us with this problem they've found a way to show us how to check the days. Buy it!
Let me know how it works for you.

Pcos
I have pcos. After 3 years of trying we found out....And due to the severity of my condition I don't ovualte at all. I have to take birth control bills just to have a reg. Period. I went 12 mths without having one when I was on nothing. No there is no certian age you have to be to have it. I had always had irr. Periods and had been put on bc pills when I was 15 the have a reg. Cycle. It wasn't until a cyst ruptured that I found out I had pcos. Its a devastating thing to find out you cant have children....But there are options out there....We're trying to adopt right now. We were scammed this past year by a girl who wanted us to adopt her twins. Needless to say we have a nursery ready for both a boy and a girl and we found out there were never any babies. I hope everyone gets the family they always wanted...But god has a way of making you stronger for the losses you take.

I have got pcos and you can get pg I know alot of women with it that have got pg naturally with pcos (me included) its just harder thats all have you all been put on the meds ie metreformin ? Have you tried clomid iui or ivf treatment have you even tried progesterone cream and soy tablets as these all can help someone with pcos concieve I just wanted to clarify you most certanly can get pg with pcos im living proof im currently ttc number 2 and it has been 7 months all of which I have not had a period and had mc in november at 12 months I will start taking soy if that doesnt work metreformin which doc will perscribe but just wanted to try natural methods first and if that doesnt work clomid and then further its def possible so keep your chins up pcos doesnt mean you are infertile just means it might be that bit harder just soem food for thought

For all those with pcos here is a pic of our baby at 20 weeks! My girlfriend has pcos became pregnant without any medication/drugs after about 7 months of ttc. Just to show there is light at the end of the tunnel and proof that you can have a baby with pcos!

Link:

can't seem to be able to add images to this forum?? - it keeps changing the address to upper case!!! Anyway, if it doesn't work for you, the scan came back with a pic of a lovely 20 week baby and there are no problems with mum and all is going well Smile I hate computers sometimes.

Good luck all!

fertility and pregnancy tests
my obgyn told me not to bother with the home fertility tests cause I have PCOS--why don't they work, I'm worried that home pregnancy tests might not work either--I take really strong sleeping pills that I can't take while pregnant so I need to know--I'm late tho I'm not usually real regular--my boobs are killing me and I have "morning sickness" Do you know anything about pregnancy tests not working either?

could I have it too?
I was wondering if someone could help me, after reading this and wondering more about pcos, i think I may have it. I have many of the signs...acne and oily skin, obesity, mood swings, very irregular period (none as of lately) and when I do they are generally very very heavy and the website i looked at said there may be a link between pcos and a drug called depakote, which I took for a year as a trial medication for my headaches.

I could use some input on this, what does it sound like? I appreciate your help

i went to my gp because i just knew there was something wrong. as the months went on, my periods got more and more irregular, they got heavier and they got more painful. as well as that, i had the most horrendous mood swings and could spend about a week before i came on crying for no reason. when i saw my gp, all they wanted to do was put me on the contraceptive pill to regulate my moods and periods which is all well and good but that doesn't actually tell me if there's anything underlying causing the symptoms so i asked for investigations. it was only when i asked for them that i was sent for a scan and blood tests and diagnosed with pcos. you know your own body and i knew there was something that wasn't right. go to your doctor and ask for the tests if your worried. incidently, it coincided with a time that me and my boyfriend were struggling to conceive but we're lucky enough to both be young so we have the time to try for a while. if you're diagnosed, there are treatments for all the symptoms so it's not the end of the world. go with your instincts if you think there's something wrong and get it checked out! hope this helps Smile
