Ear, Nose and Throat Disorders Forum

I had a tightness in my throat this morning. Then later I had my neck twisted sideways when I swallowed. All of a sudden there was a popping noise followed with severe pain. It hurts to talk and swallow. You can grab my lower throat and move it about 3 inches ethier way. I have no idea what to do or what happened. It kind of stinks because I don't have insurance. If anyone can help please let me know.

Please go see a doctor immediately. Even if you don't have insurance, i'm sure you and your doctor can work out a payment plan.
But something serious as this should not go unnoticed.
