I am putting together a site about people's experiences, bad and good, with the tempur pedic mattress. Has any one good or bad luck with it helping back pain?

You can reply here, or pm me. Thanks in advance for all your help.

Bigroxtar ~

how much help have you gotten from posting this same posts on several back/spine forums. I understand you have been banned from some. Where is this site? Is it the one you post??? So what will this prove? You want all of us to buy a tempur pedic mattress? I have a select comfort/sleep number bed and love it. I wouldn't buy any other. Maybe I should do one for them? Lol

Great Question
First, I havent been banned from any forums. Certainly some folks are more helpful than others, but regardless, I ignore those who have ill will towards any type of request for help.

Second, I dont want anyone to buy anything that they are not completely satisfied with prior to purchase.

I put together another site of reviews of the tempur pedic mattress at www.Bhrw.Com. You will note that out of the three reviews that I have posted there, one is not very flattering. There are also links that compare the bragada mattress to the tempur pedic.

Again, I am just trying to help folks get info. I dont give a rip what they buy, as long as they like it.

Big

if there are other reviews, or perhaps a site about some other sleep systems is wanted, I would be very glas to publish your reviews. Feel free to post them here or email them directly to me at support(at)zsn(dot)org.

Bragada mattress
They do not honor their warranty

My wife and I bought Bragada mattress after considerable amount of time that we spend reading reviews and trying out variety of options in the category of coil less mattresses. We decided to go with Bragada given they were less costly then their Swedish competition and they appeared better engineered too. On top of that, Bragada bragged about their 100% unconditional warranty.

Ordering and delivery of the mattress was flawless. But that is when troubles started. We were not even a month into sleeping on this beautiful mattress when top pillow top made of wool started to bunch. As weeks went by, the problem worsened. To a point we needed to add several blankets on top of the mattress to be able to sleep on it. We contacted Bragada and they said to send them exactly four photos of the mattress. They will determine if it is defected, and if it is, they will arrange for the replacement.

It took them several weeks to “determine” this. When they finally wrote us back, they said they need to inspect the mattress more closely. They asked us to ship the mattress to their factory and asked us to pay for it. Given the size and weight of the mattress, shipping from Seattle, WA to their factory in Midwest would cost over $500 both ways. I asked them what if the mattress is found to be defective, will they reimburse us shipping. They said NO. They said that we had to pay for shipping both ways, regardless if the mattress is defective of not. I argued that their 100% warranty said nothing about shipping the mattress and if they could send local technician instead to take a look at the mattress. And besides we would not have anything to sleep on while the mattress was in transit, which would be for several weeks. Their answer was, and I quote: “we do not have technicians or local representatives and you can buy air bed to sleep on while we inspect your mattress”.

At that point it was obvious to us this is bait and switch operation. Once you buy from Bragada, you are on your own. To this day, they are not able to produce in writing where their warranty states that customer will be responsible for shipping costs, even when the mattress is found to be defective. They just blew us off.

In the aftermath, if we paid $500 more (which is the amount of shipping to Bragada to inspect our mattress), we could have bought mattress from Swedish competition, and had a luxury of the same or better warranty and local technicians in case we needed to have mattress inspected or replaced.

We will never buy from Bragada again. Thank you for reading this post. I hope it helps you in your decision process.

Latex mattresses
Hi I am finding very difficult purchasing a "natural" latex mattress. I live in Ireland these types of mattresses don't appear to have cought on here. All that's available is either mixed with foam or other materials. Let alone the distinction between talay and dunlop.

What I have found is the Frankfurt based Vietnamese organization called Kymdan.com. But they don't speak English to answer my questions.

There is also a very generic latex mattress at Topsleep.co.uk going by the description of "natural" but here again the vendor wont elaborate what "natural" means.

The price difference between these two is 800 Euros. Both are described as "natural".
The former 1100 and latter 300 Euros.

Can any one help with more choices or advice.?

Many thanks

Extremely eHealthy
Bigroxtar, I don't know if you have or have not been banned from any back/spine health sites, but a quick google of your member name, shows that you have posted on dozens and dozens of other sites all over the web. Always with the same thing, putting together some kind of site and wanting peoples experiences, good or bad on dozens upon dozens of different products.

I don't know what you are trying to accomplish or trying to do, but, based on what I've seen on the various sites you have posted on, no one is interested in responding to you with information and doesn't appear that they are interested here either.

People are usually more than willing to post reviews on well established sites but joining a form to solicit information to take to another site, is not something that people are willing to do and I do not believe this is appropriate on this forum or any other forum on this site.
