Name=kai...help Make It Longer! Posted: 07-30-05 18:07pm
My husband and I love the name kai for a
boy. Now we were cursed with the last
name tong. Haha! Not only that but that
is the last name that his great
grandfather bought when he came to the us
so for a boy his middle name will be mock,
their original last name.
I think kai is too short for the middle
and last name mock tong. I want to
lengthen it but I can only seem to work
kai into girls names like kairi and kaira.
Does kailer work?
Suggestions please!
I like evan mock tong. All the names have
the same number of syllables. Does that
work?

I love the name kai. I'm hoping to
convince my hubby that we should name our
son (whenever we have one) kai. I love
it.
Here's some of my suggestions I have..
Kaiser (pronounced ki-zer) -i heard that
name on big brother ;)
kaiden (you could pronounce it kay-den or
kie-den maybe)
kaice (pronounce - kice - I made that
one up)
good luck!! Let us know what you go with
for your son!

evan has 2 syllables while mock and tong
have 1 syllable! We had the debate on
another board about using kai as a nn for
malachi, because another woman likes kai,
but doesn't like malakai...We all voted
and most people thought kai was fine as a
nn for malachi spelled this way!
Malachi would be a good formal name!
I also found caius as a name too! Cai
would be just as nice as kai!
