Q: Platelets are used to help with blood clots

Hi,

as I understand.. Platelets are used to help with blood clots.. If platelet counts are low, it is critical.. Which means if the person starts to bleed.. They will bleed uncontrollably and can be serious..

But what kind of doctor to go to.. I don't know. I'm not realli an expert at this.. But I hope this helps you. Best of luck!
