Q: Mucus Cyst Severed Salivary Gland

Goodness, after extensive research, i've finally found out that the bubble growing on my lower lip is a mucus cyst. I learnt that I have severed a salivary gland thus a cyst came about.

My question is, how do one get rid of it. Is it surgery? What is the cost? Is it going to leave a scar?

Any one in this forum ever experienced a mucus cyst, please let me know how u got rid of it and how much did it cost?

mucus cyst

Had this small lump in inner corner of my eye for a few months,went to doctor this morning for a check-up,noticed this lump and said it was a mucus cyst and he'd pop it then & there.Out I've come,cyst gone. Joy.
