I've tried the patch for a couple of days now, and as a rule I take a couple of showers a day, since it is summer, and I go to the gym, sometimes twice a day. I am finding hte patch is getting loose or moving after my intense sweaty workouts and shower. Its on my butt right now. Is this possibly just not the right birth control for me due to my lifestyle? I dont want to constantly be worried about whether or not its sticking or is being effective.

I had the same problem with the patch. I must admit, though, it got better in the winter months when I didn't sweat as much or shower twice a day. I found that it usually worked better wearing it on my front, lower abdomen rather than my butt, but the problem with that is it would fold over when i'd sit down, which would cause it to start coming off. In the winter I wore it on my shoulder since it was covered, and that was perfect. But I eventually switched off because it was just too much of a hassle. Maybe the nuva ring would be a good option for you.
