Hello. I am 32 yearss old and am
currently being tested for lupus and
sjogren's syndrome. I was also diagnosed
with ms in august of 2000. My current
symptoms are fatigue, joint pain,
raynaud's phenomenon (which was diagnosed
a couple of years ago while taking part in
a study for ms) a malar rash, morning
stiffness, frequent urination, and
constant lower back pain. My mom also
has ms, and my grandmother had discoid
lupus. Does anyone know if it is
possible to have both ms and lupus? Any
information is appreciated. I hope
everyone is having a good day.

I personally have no experience with ms
but did run across a woman who had both
sle and ms several years ago. I think it
is kinda rare and I only spoke with her
twice, I was still in the diagnostic phase
back then. I wish you luck in dealing
with all of this and hope that whatever
the diagnosis turns out to be that you
receive the best care possible. Remember
I am not a medical professional and can
not say for certain that my information is
accurate especially given how old it is.

Thanks for your reply. After doing some
research it appears that it is possible to
have both, but like you said it is very
rare. Thanks again.
