Your young and pregnant. Your only concern should be for your health and safety of your child. Four months is not love. Four years really isn't either. A person will change his or her ways a hundred times in a life time. You can't force any one to care for you. You have to care for yourself and don't worry about that man. My opinion. I'm 23 and from my exessive experience no 23 year old man should be with a 16 year old girl. There's the first sign he has issue's if he cant date his own age. Second off he is grown and got you pregnant. He should no better. At 16 you think you know whats going on but in two years you'll admit to your self you have no clue at this age. The man must not be any good so don't brake yourself to get his attention. I think you should press charges against him. He is to old to be messing with a teenage girl wether along getting one pregnant. I have full experience with older men and at 16 yeah I dated 23 year olds. But I knew they were after one thing. I played their games better then they did. You got caught in a game and i'm sorry you have to go through this. Take him to court make him pay for his kid and forget about about whatever you think you had with him. I've seen alot of my friends and family members chase men for years and it never works out. If he says your son isn't his fine tell him see you in court. You attacked him over denying your son. Thats not good. He could have knocked you out and made you have a miss carage. Think priority's now. Make a list of what you want for your son. Family clothes whatever. Maybe in two years your ex might grow up and change his ways. Pushing him now will only push him away from any chance of parenting your son later. Be good to your self. Tell your self you dont need him and beleive it. Good luck

Hey loneytearz, im sorry u have to go through all that! That is sad that he doesnt think he needs to accept his responsibilities. Many men...Well boys actually, when they are 21 arent that mature. Some never mature...He should realize that sex can have consequences.
I know situations (even without pregnancy) like that suck and ive never handled break ups too well either. But I can tell u that my idea of a good man has changed a lot since I was 16 (im almost 23 now), and when I think back to relationships I had in back then at times I wonder why I let some guys treat me the way they did. I know id think yeah whatever to people that would say this stuff to me when I was younger. U do have a lot ahead of u yet, even with a baby.
If hes going to press charges against u for something like that I think he looks like a punk anyway. Maybe he will wise up soon, but if he doesnt I would take him to court so at least he has some financial responsibility for the child.
It does suck, but try to have like a support system of friends or family or something. Do stuff that makes u happy.
Im kind of in a crappy relationship now and when I get upset I either hang out with a friend or sometimes I just write in a journal...It doesnt solve everything but it can make me feel a little better.

Thanks nichol fo the advice but...I still havnt heard nething from him...Ive seen him 1 time after I left my last post n he gave me the dirtest look n walked away from me... I know he said he doesnt care n doesnt want to be apart of our sons or my life....But I just wish he would turn around n realize that I still care for him soooo much...More then nething really...I see other couples with baby's n it makes me wonder what if he stayed...U know?But I just found out that I might have to be put on bed rest becuz of my blood pressure(which is in the same range everytime I go 136/50 to 138/52)but there sayn its high n want to put me on meds... On top of that im rh- (my blood type) which will affect the baby n me so I have to get a shot of rogam n it doesnt go in my arm...=-/ lol but other then that I guess im just tryn to stay on top of things n do everything I can for my son n me...But I truly app. It thank u sooo much....Ne more advice would be thanked greatfully =-)

Im 15w2d's and have been with my baby's father since I was 12 years old. No my pregnancy wasn't planned but I wouldnt change a minute of it. A child doesn't change the love you have for a man.If god see's it in his eyes for you guys to be together then thats the way it will be. God works in mysterious ways. God could be trying to tell you that there's somebody out there waiting on you who will take care of you and your son the way it should be.The right way! Your son's father is a coward. The only thing you need to worry about right now is your health and the health of your baby. Because that baby will love you unconditionally, your son's father is missing out but that's something he will be regretting not you. Stressing could only do damage to you and your unborn child. Just calm down and just roll with things.

I have this girlfriend right but shes being really horrible to me, she's saying stuff like I dont care about her anymore which I do and I have shown it but theres this other guy involved and shes saying that he cares about her more than I do and its getting me really worried that smthing might happen between these two can someone please help me and give me som advice on what to do?
