Friends, this is my first post here, and I am so glad to find you all. I'm finding I have to be extremely vigilent lately, eating almost every hour to stay calm. Its been three weeks since I kicked sugar, caffiene and all the junk. Mid mornings and around dinner are my worst times. Work is rough, stressful enough, but then with three kids in college and all the trappings and stress of the "good life", I am really sort of child like in my coping skills lately. I can't hang real well - even just staying in line somewhere!

A half stick of big red the other day sent me into a tailspin. Can't do that again.

Even the fluoresence lights in my office are making me edgy.

I eat protien packed meals with meat, raw veggies, and nuts. How long till the waters smooth out and I feel better? Thanks,

god bless, ron

Very happy to report that I have discovered an old ally I used years ago to control hypoglycemia symptoms - spirillina. It has helped today to a great degree. Have to trim back bread in the diet as well. Think there may be an algeric reaction to it. Didn't eat till 11am because of a physical exam fast in the morning. Felt real clear headed and calm without any food - then ate the roast beef sandwich on whole wheat and got kind cranky. Today was the best day of the last thirty even still! 1000 mgs vitamin c, 200mcgs crhomiun percilinate and 500mg spirillina have worked great today. God bless, best ron

Try to cut your carbs down to no more than 100g a day, totallying everything you eat up. It should help. Don't add bread later until you feel like you can experiment.
