And I totally agree with the person saying
not to look up your symptoms on the
internet (as my friend says, "it's the
devil.")!

Internet Saved My Life Posted: 08-27-05 03:05am
That's right.
I had symptoms for cancer and my doc kept
giving me anti-biotics and said it was an
infection. I went on the internet and
typed in my symptoms and wham! There it
was, testicular cancer!
I followed the progress of demanding for a
ultrasound and in less than a week I was
under the surgeons knife.
I had a terratoma tumour which is a
particular rare and aggressive cancer.
My urologist and oncologist said I just
caught it in time, a week later it may
have been a different story. Well that
was two years ago now and i'm still in
remission thanks to the internet.
Moral of my story is: follow your gut
feeling and do what ever you can to help
yourself.
I'm a long term sufferer of anxiety to top
it all off but already have made a friend
through this board who is helping me, he
knows who he is.
