Help!

I recently discovered a large red hard lump (the size of a grape) in the center of the roof of my mouth. It does not actually hurt but is very annoying. I am also feeling pressure in the sinus area above the lump and in the back of my neck, as well as some blurred vision. This all came on very sudden or at least I did not notice anything until about a week ago when I discovered the lump. I have had trouble swallowing during the night for some time now.

Any one know what this is. I made a doctor appointment but they can't see me till august 1st.

Lump In Roof of Mouth
This is not in the back of the mouth this is right in the center of the roof. Back a ways from the teeth. I saw a posting back in may about the same thing and some of those who replied said it turned out to be cancer. So I was hoping to maybe talk to some of those folks to see if this way really the same as they had. But thanks for replying and for the positive thought
