Inguinal Hernia

I will be having laparoscopic surgery in a few days . I have been having some pain on my right side testicles lately and my right leg hurts sometime as well. Is this normal? Also for the past few weeks I have been really gassy and it smell real bad, also my bowel movements are larger and smell real bad too, and I have to go sometime twice a day, is this normal?
