No offense here, but you shouldn't be all that concerned about not wanting sex when your 16 sweetie...I'm not saying its not with someone meaningful, or your smart about it...But i'm sure adolescent sex is another stress that maybe you might not need in your life if you suffer from depression.

Kitty, I don't think that ebbylove was saying that you have sex with every guy. She was only trying to help. But depression and stress can cause a lot of body troubles. It can upset your stomach, sometimes ending in stomach ulcers and other physical problems. I am sure that it can cause your sex drive to decrease.

It probably is the meds. I was on efexor and had problems with my sex drive. I complained to my doctor about it and he switched me to celexa. I had the same problem. I was then switched to wellbutrin and it went away. I would try a different med if I was you because I remember how frustrating it was.
