My mom(bless her heart) was scratched by a cat when she was 6yrs old, and it gave her toxoplasmosis, which triggered glaucoma, which triggered uv-itis, which triggered cateracts. She's already lost all but pereperal vision in her left eye and its discolored from the right one. She's had cateract surgery once and its already back. Her eye pressure is approaching 50, which is about how much it takes for the eyeball to burst. The uv-itis causes the high pressure. Shes currently on 4 different kinds of drops and a pill. Is there any new advancements in medicine that maybe i'm not aware of. She's only 53 and its destroying her life...Everyday we all fear she's gonna just wake up blind..Please help me.
