Yazmine - hey girly, well im not catholic but im religious so i'll try to answer some of these!!!
Condoms as a sin???? Well I suppose in a way, sex is supposed to be for pleasure between husband and wife, and to reproduce so using a condom would be preventing its natural cause and if your married I suppose you shouldnt worry about having a baby.. Never thought of it that way before but I can understand where they are coming from
masturbating is a sin???? I dont even have a clue there other than it is not being "clean" and holy and would be giving yourself pleasure when only the person you are married to is supposed to do that. Maybe someone else can add to that one I cant think of anything off the top of my head.
Homosexuality is a sin???? God made eve for adam and adam for eve not and eve for eve and an adam for adam... Thats my best way to describe it... Im not against homosexuality but thats my only idea...
Premarital sex is a sin???? Well now theres the big one cuz I think most of us teens in here have done this one! The bible says you are supposed to stay sexually clean until you are married and only to have sex with the person you are married to.

I was raise catholic I went to a catholic grade school from kindergarten to 8th grade then I went to a catholic high school my 9th grade year! Yes I have heard all of those! Thats why im not a practicing catholic theres a lot of things I do not agree w/ our religion they are very orthodox and strict and I really dont like that ..... Im in a deciding matter what to be because I have all these beliefs combined together maybe I should make my own church lol!! Idk! Yah most of those things I do not agree w/ but theres nothing we can really do to change them! Sorry I cant a lot just told my opinion!! Muhc love adn god bless!!

Hello! Im irish catholic (and very proud!) yes,the church does say all these things r bad cos the bottom line is that humans r made 2 procreate and anything that gets in the way such as condoms is a bad thing.
Pre-marital sex: the church deosnt approve of it because a person may get in2 the routine of sleeping with every1 they go out with instead of saving it for one person-their future husband or wife-sex b4 marrigae they say causes physical,spiritual & emotional unrest.
Masturbation: seen as a sin because it wastes the sperm that cud b used 2 create a baby-the bible talks about it as 'spilling ones seed' (sounds gross!)
its not frowned upon by the church 4 2 men to like each other but it becomes a sin when they act on these feelings e.G. Have sex.

Im on liz with everything. Im christian and I believe all of those are correct. Nd it should be followed. Unless you made a mistake and you ask for forgiveness. But liz is right. Dont think more should be said.

Everyone has their own belief. I think that you have to pray and ask for forgivness if you do any of these acts besides masterbation........ But I feel that god will forgive you for something if you truly are sorry.

Well yaz, I heard all these things too. When I went to a christian school. And I was in the second grade!!! Lol. Well, here are my views, I am an atheist, so I don't really have any "religeous views" but here we go. I don't think pre-marital sex is a sin. I think anyone who is willing to save them self for their future spouse is great. I have a friend who is about to graduate a virgin. Shes very pretty, funny, and a cheerleader! Lol. Shes not very proud of it but I tell her all the time im proud of her! Now she wont have to worry about ending up like me! But dont most people who get married in the us end up divorced anyways? I mean, I know there are quite a few marriages that do last a lifetime, but divorce is becoming more and more the norm. So wouldnt that kind of defeat the purpose of saving urself? I dont know. Condoms, I definately think are a lifesaver, not a sin! But they can believe what they want. Lol. Homosexuality, I dont condone, but I am ok with. I have 2 gay friends and I love them too death! Lol.
