How many people here have spouses or gf bf's that you can't talk to because they don't understand about panic attacks. My bf will not talk to me about mine because he says its all in my head.

Everytime I have a doctors appointment my husband has a comment. He's always saying "again?? What's wrong with you now?" he doesn't understand that I am very sensitive to how my body works so whenever I feel something not working right or get some kind of weird pain I have to get it checked out. If I don't it will sit in my mind forever. When the doctor dismisses something, I am on to something else. Every week it is something different. I have an appointment tomorrow for two tiny pimples/bumps that I found on my neck which started to bleed after I played with them too much. I have it in my head that I have skin cancer now. My husband just shook his head when I asked him to look at them.....

Sounds exactly like my wife. Given, I am a hypochondriac. I can admit that. She ignores it, though, tells me it's all in my head, and kind of sort of makes me feel a little foolish about calling the doctor . . . Which I guess isn't a bad thing necessarily. Still, it bothers me when she's so dismissive about it and can't understand what i'm actually going through.
