I'm 16 and I went to chkd today and I got told I could have some form of epilispy. This really scared me, I was told I needed an eeg . I think i'm more or less scared because this could mean a lifestyle change for me. I dont know what to expect. And I can try and pretend like it doesn't bother me but it does. I mean why would a migrane suffer have to have an eeg for eplispy it just doesn't make sense to me, can some one help me and possibly explain it to me? :?

I don't know why eegs are done, but they are pretty common to rule out any additional problems in the brain that cause headaches. I've had one and it was painless and easy (and didn't turn up any strange problems). Why would the eeg cause a lifestyle change for you?
