Hi everyone. I´m new to this forum, and new to pregnancy as well. Wednesday I go for my first meeting with a midwife who will conduct the first examination. Then, on monday I go for a test called an nt scan which is supposedly replacing the amnio -- without the intrusive long and dangerous needle. I have two questions for anyone with thoughts on this. The first is what I should expect this week at my first appointment and second, does anyone have news on the nt scan test. I hear it is pretty reliable, but thoughts on it would be great. I´m excited about it all -- especially this new test because i´m not too thrilled with the idea of an amnio. Any thoughts, comments, stories, help, would all be appreciated.

Sincerely,

ruth
