I'm new here. :) i'm 21 years old and i've probably been dealing with anxiety all my life. It's been worse lately though, and i've actually been having bad panic attacks along with a general feeling of anxiety.

Lately i've been having numbness down my left arm and leg. They don't go completely numb ... It's just like a slight sensation and usually a tingly feeling, or weak feeling. Immediately I start worrying about my heart. I've also been having chest pains. I saw 3-4 different doctors about this, they all say it's panic-related and don't seem to think that it's my heart at all. But I keep worrying anyway.

I just started taking celexa, an anti-depressant. It was my first day today and it seemed to have caused numbness down the left side of my arm/leg that has lasted all day. Or maybe my anxiety caused that, I don't know. I've been feeling very anxious about taking new drugs.

Do other people experience this numbness on the left side, and does it last a long time like mine does? I've been in such a horrible state of mind ... Constantly worried that something is seriously wrong with me physically. I've begun to drive my friends and family crazy. :/
