Hello kissbear,

no you can not get pregnant when you are having your period. When your period starts your egg is no longer good.. Your period is cleaning out your body for the next month.. The prime time to get pregnant is 14 days (or 2 weeks) after your period starts.. I hope this helps you..

Take care and if a pregnany is not wanted maybe go one the pill or use a condom.. It is just my advice to you. Cool

smile life is wonderful...

Yes, it is possible to get pregnant while you have your period.

Some women will ovulate more than once a month. While it is not common, it is still possible.

As for the 'prime' time to get pregnant, the idea that every woman ovulates on day 14 is not necessarily true. Not every woman has the perfect 28 day cycle. Some have shorter, some have longer.

If you are concerned about becoming pregnant, always use protection.

Thank you everyone for your help. I was just concerd about pregnancy b/c i'm just too young and i'm really not ready for children yet in my life. I"m only 21years old. But I think I will still have the test done anyways to make sure and for all my worries to be ok. We always use protection just at times things get heated up and we just say forget that and just don't use protection. But thank you for all your help on my question I had.
