Back in may I was outside on a very sunny
weekend. I got a bad burn, which somehow
turned into hives.
I went to see the doctor that following
monday since it hurt pretty bad. I got
some medicine which worked very well. I
went to the pharmacy at the local grocery
store and picked up spf 50 sun block.
I heard that anything over a certain spf
doesn't work any better, just costs much
higher. Not being a dermotologist I have
no idea if that's true or not. Does
anyone know if that is true?
Also, will I still be able to get a tan
with spf 50?
I did learn a lesson from that one
weekend. I'll never go out in a strong
sun without sun screen. I'm lucky I got
hives and nothing worse.

The importnat thing is to keep reapplying
every few hours. You really dont need
anything more than 30 if you apply every 2
hours.
