I have had 3 sugerys for cancer and displashia or however you speel it, and now I have it again. They say I need a hysterectomy. Will it feel the same during sex for my partner and I after I have it done? Honestly.. Would I need to be on hormones??

Hi alex, whether or not you need to be on hormone treatment will totally depend on whether they do a full hysterectomy or do a part hysterectomy and leave your ovaries in. If they leave your ovaries, you will still be producing enough hormone to prevent the onset of menopause. If you do have to have your ovaries out, it is always wise to talk to many people, doctors and health professionals about your options, as there are many. A lot of people are choosing natural hormone treatments now over prescription drugs as the prescription drugs can sometimes cause as many nasty symptoms as what the menopause itself does. There is also an enormous worldwide debate going on at the moment about whether or not prescription hormone drugs are actually causing different types of cancers in some women.

Good luck...
