However, cancer can still return as many times as it likes, just because he's had it before doesnt mean he wont have it again, but dont panic we all have a chance of getting cancer your dad has no greater or smaller chance then me or you getting it. If it did come back id say your dad had a slight advantage he's been through this before so he knows what to expect and how to deal with it.

I am a 40 year old woman who underwent one of the1st wipple surgeries in around 1989. I had a 12 hour surgery and it is in the medical books. I was born with an abnormal pancreas and had chronic pancreatic attacks since I was 18 i lived in te hospital it was emotionally and physically draining. I m now 40 years old with a healthy 11 year old son I am not a diabetic. I have had alot of different surgeries to but I am healthy otherwise and happy to be alive but i do struggle with my emotions since I have been through so much. If anyone would like to talk or ask me any questions feel free. I am happy to have a healthy family6 and that is what keeps me happy.

hi there,my mum has been diagnosed with bileduct cancer,docs have said she is @stage 3.therefore inoprable,were all distraught.the doc have been unhelpfull and said there is nothing they can do,were desperate to hear off anyone who has this espesially stage3. is there any one out there who is @stage 3and haveing the op or who could advise me where to go she stars kimo in few weeks im distraught im in the uk.

Hello there! I am a new comer to this site and I'd like to start by saying that I feel truly blessed. I do get depressed alot because of what I've been through with my diagnosis and surgery, but I try to pick myself up, pray and keep going. Those of you out there who are feeling particularly down and/or out, may I suggest prayer. It does work! I am having major problems with what I can and cannot eat and need some suggestions. What types of foods seem to agree with those who have had this surgery?
