A month ago I was tested positive for add. I was given adderall by my doctor. I read the side-effects online and it said seizers could be a possible side-effect. Does anyone know the odds of this? I wittnessed someone having a seizer in person, and it was a very scary moment. Ther person did survive, though.

Also,

i do realize that adderall is basically becoming a street drug. I heard in some colleges and high schools it is the number one drug that is taken illegally. I know it is illegal to give it to someone, and you don't have to worry about me doing that. I don't want to get in trouble!!

It is possible adderall could give you seizer. There are many factors that go into it and that being said it is rather a gray area. From casual use I would say it is not very common.

It is possible but I think a very small chance and plus since you just got diagnosed with it the docter of coarse is going to start you off on a small dose. I recently got diagnosed with add too.. About 2 days ago the docter put me on adderall xr(15mg).. The symptoms I got were loss of appetite, trouble sleeping(which I think is suppose to be normal), and my heart beats kinda fast, I searched that up and I think it might be a serious problem because on some sites it says its a rare case.. So im kind of worried.. Does anyone else take adderall and has fast heart beats?

I think adderall naturally causes your heart rate to speed up, but if you are getting a very fast heartbeat i'd tell your doctor.

As for seizures, that side effect is very rare. If you take it as prescribed and you have add, it probably won't cause a seizure. If you have epilepsy I would tell your doctor; otherwise, you're fine.
