Q: About Raising Heart Rate

I didnt know where to put this, so I put it here. I was just wondering if everytime your heart rate increases, does your metabolism increase? I know it sounds odd, but I mean in the sense if I say get nurvous or a medication is causing my heart rate to speed up a little, is that speeding up my metabolism?
