I have used the patch for the better part of a year now but I have skipped using it for the last two months. I am going on a cruise next week and my period is scheduled to come during my vacation. I wanted to know if I started using the patch now (before my cycle) would that prevent my cycle from coming? I realize the threat of pregnancy and will use a back up method but I just don't want my cycle to come.
