Spotting is usually a "light" period for a few short days. For example you could just have a few drops of blood here and there for several days or you could have a very light trickle.

Oh by the way a "few days" could be anywhere from 1-7.

You know how it is toward the end of ur period when its darker? Its like that and really light(well not as heavy as usual[and it's usually pretty heavy]) and I have been having bad cramps or something the past couple of days... But I havent gotten them in over a year because of the birth control. I don't know, its just not the usual on time pereiod

Well you could always try a home preg test. I doubt that you are pregnant but you never know. Sometimes you get cramps and spotting if you are pregnant. If the test comes out neg, i'd wait a week and try again and if still nothing i'd go the doc and get one from there done. It could also be some medical condition...Or absolutely nothing. So try not to worry about it too much, and good luck!
