I dont know if this is the right bored or
not I think it probably is...
Im 14 and 5 feet tall I havent had my
period yet and was wondering if it is
going to come anytime soon...My mom got
hers when she was 13...I was also
wondering how much I am going to grow
afterwards ..

Some girls just don't start their periods
until later. A friend of mine never had
hers until she was almost 16. It all
depends on your body I guess.

As long as your get your period before you
are 16, you have nothing to worry about
and are perfectly normal. It often
depends on your body weight as well.
Girls cannot get their period unless they
have an adequete amount of body fat (are
atleast 105 lbs). That is why many
gymnists, dancers and other athlete's do
not get their period until they do they
sport less frequently, and gain more body
fat. After you get your period you will
continue to grow until you are 18.

You have nothing to worry about. I did
not start my period till I was 15 and my
friend did not start until she was 16. So
I would say live it up right now lol. You
do not have to worry about periods or
anything, so have fun with that while you
still can lol!

Ok...I dont think im going to get mine for
a while because right now I am only like
95 pounds....So if I really only grow
until I am 18 does that mean im going to
be short??

Hey....When I was 14 I was 86lbs.....And
ya I am the shortest one of my friends,
but that is genetics. So I was 86lbs in
grade 9...Then in the next year was
like...Ok so I am a size 0 or 16
kids...Then it was...Ok size 3....Uh ok
size 5??? Then bam started my period in
late grade 10. It may seem right now like
you weigh less and stuff, but not to freak
you out or anything, you will gain
weight...Probably not bad, like in my case
I grew hips and boobs and stuff, that is
where my weight cam from. So do not
worry, you will gain some weight and
everything will be ok

going to deffiniatly start mine this
summer but she also said it last summer so
im not sure..Lol.

If you re only 14 now, and you are going
to grow until you are 18, you have tons of
time!!!! By the time you are 18 you
should be around the same height as your
mum and dad (most likely mum). I'm 18 and
i'm pretty much the same height as my dad,
and my mum is a bit taller, I know i'm
still growing too.

Ha, I stayed short (5'2" 5'3" ish) and I
only weigh 101 on heavy days. My period,
when off bc, was almost 40 days apart, if
it was "regular". I feel gipped that now
I have to have it every 25 days or so,
lol.
Don't worry! Your period will come when
it's time for you! Then celebrate it!

I got my period when I was 11 I knew
someone who didnt get theirs and she was
21! She had to go to the docotors and
they did something that made her get hers.
