After a long history of having to have a bathroom on wheels to take everywhere, I have had a colonoscopy & doc wants to put me on
"welchol". Anybody out there tried it? Heard of it? It's for high cholesterol so makes me little nervous to start taking it. Thanks for any help. Pam

I had my gallbladder removed back in april and experienced chronic diarrhea after and my surgeon prescribed cholestyramine for oral suspension light and I took it for a week and personally it made me bloated and gassy. I personally have not taken welchol but it sounds similar to cholestyramine.
